The Disciplinary Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association has invited 3 individuals – Mohamed Kallon, Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai and Kasho J. Holland-Cole over a leaked audio recording, on plots to disrupt the FA and football in the country, (allegedly). The SLFA have complained the trio over their confessions of how they frustrated Isha Johansen’s efforts to run football since she was elected President of the FA in 2013, and plans by the said individuals for allegedly plotting to harm members of the FA and incite violence against the administration of the game.

“Isha and FIFA can run football but it is our country and we own our clubs, we will do what we did in 2013 and she will not have any peace,” Kallon and Saffa-Abdulai were allegedly overheard in this alleged audio – opined as a chilling insight as to the dark days of football that the government and the people of Sierra Leone are heading for in 2021 and years to come.

The said audio was recorded on the 8th January 2021 during the close of nominations at the SLFA Headquarters for the forthcoming SLFA Elective Congress, which also led to violent incidents that resulted to the stabbing of the Chairman of East End Tigers, Victor Lewis.

On the 1st February 2021, Disciplinary Committee invited the founder of F.C Kallon – Mohamed Kallon at the Home Suites Hotel in Freetown to respond to the allegations lodged against him and 2 others. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai will appear before the Committee on Wednesday 3rd February 2021, while Kasho Holland-Cole will appear before it on Friday 5th February 2021. After the investigations, the Disciplinary Committee is expected to update the public on its line of actions, if any.
