His partner and long standing Player in the sands is Mohamed Karim Kamara (Star Boy). He is with Twelve % Volleyball Club, Runners Up in the WesternArea Club Championships.

Star Boy has been with the Beach Training programmes since 2018 and has made an impact on the coach.

The duo of Gladys Maria and Binta Bah is well known in national beach volleyball circles. Though they represent different clubs their partnership on the sands has been remarkable for years.

Speaking to the VFSL MEDIA, the Head Coach of the teams, Coach Sorie Kamara (MOR), maintained that he was desperate and wanted to make a show at this event after an absence of close to three years and the effects of such an absence on his teamsโ€™ African rankings.

He stated that both teams have dropped considerably and were at an time low in a decade. Appearance was of essence inspite of the funding challenges.

He is hopeful that tremendous improvement would be made on their rankings and eventually buy some experience ahead of future championships.
