Top Sierra Leonean model cum rapper, Swadu Natasha Beckley has explained her career path, following her intentions to contest for the position of a Deputy Youth Leader of the All People’s Congress (APC). The former Miss Sierra Leone narrates her trajectory from being a model, to becoming a politician and a rapper. Despite widely known as an entertainer, the gorgeous Natasha is an elected Councilor in the Portloko City Council under the APC political party.

On her latest Facebook post, Natasha has made it known that she is aspiring for the Deputy Youth Leader position in the upcoming APC Convention. The purpose of her post is to aid bloggers with the right information about her political aspirations.

“2008 – lost my friend Marie to cancer , she told be to give pageantry a chance. Competed and was crowned MISS SIERRA LEONE DC / USA

“2010 – placed 1ST RUNNER UP MISS AFRICA USA , lost to guinea

“2018 – I aspired for a seat in parliament, my dream was to becomes a parliamentarian but the dual citizenship clause affected me

“2018 – when one door closes another one opens , during a bi election I won a seat in council with over 70% of the votes. Ward 234 Port Loko city council

“Things were tough for me in Sierra Leone, my manager Pope called me and said “Tasha why did you give up on rapping?” He motivated me I left Freetown for Lagos and linked up with Magnito

“2019 – released my first single and video Korlay produced by JUWHIZ and shot by Aron items , and the rest was history

“2020 – moved to Atlanta to record music , young jeezy’s manager is Sierra Leone and he changed my name from Tasha baby to Swadu , he said Tasha , let your name represent you
