‘Denge N Pose’ by Morris has topped the chart for the 3rd consecutive month. The song has continues to maintain more playing time and growth across Sierra Leone and beyond in the months of February, March, and now April 2020. Quite irresistible tune done by one of Sierra Leone’s finest singers, Morris. With a classic video and good rhythm and lyrics, ‘Denge N Pose’ keeps growing wild. You can’t easily skip it on your playlist coz Morris has invested his extraordinary talent in it. The song still rocks amongst the best. ‘Denge N Pose’ on top of the chart again.

โ–ช2. ๐ŸŽผ FIRE DANCER by YOK 7 x Teni

‘Fire Dancer’ keeps blazing trail to the top of the chart, after trailing in second position for the 2 consecutive months. The afro pop/rap song keeps growing and blasting around. Two African giants on it, Sierra Leonean rapper YOK 7 and the Nigerian afrobeat Teni, hammered this song in 2019. ‘Fire Dancer’ is still popular in the early 2020 and it has grabbed the 2nd again place in the April chart of Vertex Salone Top 10 Songs.

Kao Denero’s ‘Story of Lumumba’ is what many refer to as the real deal of a contemporary rap song. The song touches the minds of many influencers across Africa since it was released from the ‘KISS THE THRONE’ album in March. It gets everyone talking on their blogs and YouTube channels due to its revealing stance of pan Africanism. It therefore takes the 3rd position in the April 2020 chart.

Drizilik’s skills in mastering the Krio dialect and wordplay, makes it easy for his latest single ‘Tell’ to hit the waves on streaming platforms and airwaves across Sierra Leone. The rap kid is highly rated among the hip hop arena, despite his sticking to his Krio dialect in an afro slow motion rap. ‘Tell’ has successfully made it debut to the chart occupying the 4th position.

โ–ช5. ๐ŸŽผ HANDMADE by Pizzy x Kyler Voice

Here comes a mega hit song – ‘Handmade’ from the boss of the Untouchable Empire. Popular rapper Pizzy features the dancehall artist Kyler Voice from DOZ-KABAL on this grooving track. The song is notably making impacts in all platforms across the country, and has successfully made it debut to the Salone Top 10 Songs chart, occupying the 5th position in April 2020.

New entry ‘Waka Waka’ is a classic love song done by Tony Tee, featuring the New Skool best singer Pitwizzy. Both acts did justice to this song, making it appealing and compelling to be put on replay. Despite being released in late 2019, the song continues to growth in airplay and popularity online across Sierra Leone. It safely occupies the 6th place in the April 2020 chart .

Another new entry ‘Freetown’ is a sensational rap song released by Sierra Leone’s fastest growing female rapper Natasha Beckley popular on stage as Tasha. The song became more popular when the artist released a video clip last month. There are notably a couple of challenges done in honor of Tasha’s ‘Freetown’ original cover. It takes the 7th place in the April 2020 chart as a debutant.

โ–ช8. ๐ŸŽผ TININI REMIX by Rozzy x Kuami Eugene

After her breakthrough in the original ‘Tinini’ song, the KME best – Rozzy Sokota has released the remake of her love song with the Ghanaian melodic – Kuami Eugene. ‘Tinini Remix’ is gradually taking over the space again, comfortably sitting in the 8th position of the April 2020 chart, in its debut entry.

โ–ช9. ๐ŸŽผ AROUND YA by Star Zee

Star Zee’s ‘Around Ya’ is still a popular hit across Sierra Leone since it was released in the late 2019. The song enters 2020 with series of ‘challenges’ on the original cover by several artists in Sierra Leone and in the diaspora. It used to lead the chart before it gave way to other trending songs. But it is still on the chart at the 9th position in April 2020.

โ–ช10. ๐ŸŽผ BAKA BAD by Supa Saa x Muzayman x Rhyme K x JD Camel

‘Baka Bad’ is still on the chart for 3 consecutive months. It is one of the best dancehall songs in the country. It sits bottom of the chart, after previously occupying the 3rd position in February and 6th in March 2020. ‘Baka Bad’ was done by Supa Saa x Muzayman x Rhyme K x JD Camel.
