Lloyd Randall has had a very engaging summer so far across Europe. The China based Star Times TV anchor has been an all-rounder in the past few months, as he was spotted in the UK, the Netherlands, Finland, Belgium, Estonia, etc,.
From being seen dancing at a white boat party in Belgium to attending the One World Media Awards night in London the next day.
For him, it’s about work and pleasure, as ‘all work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy’.
As an iconic movie star, Randall was featured in Eternal Evolution‘s video ad, for a mobile role playing game, along with Kazakhstan model and actor Violetta, and another Portuguese-Macao actor, Joana.
Randall’s bustling acting skills were once again brought to the limelight in this gaming video ad, which left many people across the world in awe and astonishment.
Lloyd Randall was also a host at the African Achievers Awards in London and also attended the AI Summit, where he interacted with the world’s brightest minds in innovation.
His engagements across Europe were also noticed and captured by a United States based media platform, ‘The China Project‘. In this exclusive interview, Lloyd Randall recounts his journey from a shy kid who grew up in Freetown, Sierra Leone, to becoming a Mike Tyson’s stunt double and a global TV personality, among others.
Who Is Randall?
Godfrey Lloyd Randall is a Sierra Leonean TV presenter (presenting sports) for Star Times TV in China. He is also a documentary maker, actor, published author, show host, and motivational speaker. In his life’s journey to date, Randall has been fortunate to star as Mike Tyson’s stunt double in the movie ‘China Salesman’, hosted and script edited a documentary in Russia (in the run up to the FIFA World Cup in 2018), served as an anchor for both the Football World Cup 2018 and FIBA Basketball World Cup in 2019, did a documentary on the 30th anniversary of the collapse of the Berlin Wall in Germany, won best speech at an African speech contest held in Beijing in 2016 (featuring over 30 other contestants), hosted a covid-19 sensitization show targeting Africa and always proud to be an ambassador for his native Sierra Leone and the African continent wherever he goes.
Lloyd Randall was also among the 100 Most Influential People of African Descent – MIPAD, an organization established by the United Nations to celebrate people of African descent across the world. He was nominated in the media and culture category for under- 40s for 2020. Prominent nominees on the list include Burna Boy (Nigerian singer), Leo Santana (Brazilian singer), Renan De Souza (CNN Brazil), and several others.
