FC Johansen & AID4UMMAH commence the Ramadan Food Aid distribution to mosques and deprived communities

As the Holy month of Ramadan approaches, the FC Johansen family in partnership with a UK based Islamic humanitarian foundation – AID4UMMAH, have commence the distribution of the Ramadan Food Aid to various mosques, disabled homes and other deprived communities. The donation is intended to target over 100 beneficiaries across the Sierra Leone.

This humanitarian outreach is borne out of the collaboration between FC Johansen and a UK based Islamic humanitarian foundation – AID4UMMAH.

250 bags of rice including oil, sugar, maggie cubes, and other assorted items will be distributed in the Capital of Freetown and other mosques and communities around the country.

The Ramadan Food Aid is part of FC Johansen’s humanitarian venture to extend their goodwill gestures to people in need, especially to the Muslim community during the Holy month of fasting.

Founder of FC Johansen, Madam Isha Johansen, who is currently attending a FIFA function in Qatar, noted that the donation is all about ‘HUMANITY THROUGH FOOTBALL’. Adding that it is meant to cushion the effect of the current hardship in the country for some Muslim beneficiaries during Ramadan.

FC Johansen Ambassadors (Markmuday and Skillz), players and officials will join the nationwide distribution of the assorted food items on Friday and Saturday.
