MOS-B SCOOPS FaNEA AWARD FOR BEST DIASPORA ARTIST

Sierra Leone international sensational pop star Joseph Amos Bangura, popular on stage as Mos-B has won this year’s Best Northern Diaspora Artist of the Year award at the 2019 Faces of the North Entertainment Awards (FaNEA) held at the Apex Wusum Hotel in Makeni  City on Friday 13th December 2019. Mos-B got a standing ovation from cheering fans when he was announced the winner of the coveted award. His award was one everybody was expecting as the best deserving nominee in that category.

Mos-B beats other nominees like Tazzy B, Terror D, Boss Ricky, J Skull and Denno XL to win the award. The pop star stands out as the most successful diaspora artist with a very big audience across the world. He has particularly toured and performed at big arenas across Europe and other parts of the world. The live performer has just returned from Conakry, Guinea where he earlier performed in November after returning from France, and he got a call up again last week by top media entities in Conakry for huge promotions of his music in Guinea.

After receiving the award, Mos-B expressed how important the award is to his music career. “Thank you FaNEA. This award means a lot to me. I have been representing Sierra Leone since 2001 in Holland, France, Germany and UK.”

“This award will give me more inspiration to stand out there and say ‘Saloonnnee, sweet sweet Saloonnee,” Mos B.

This is the 2nd edition of FaNEA, after a successful maiden edition in 2018. FaNEA celebrates outstanding talents in music, film, sports, comedy, fashion, etc, who are descendants of the Northern region of Sierra Leone. Top celebrities from across in Makeni City, Bombali District.
