One of the leading digital savings platforms, MiKashBoks, has established a strong partnership with Orange Money. The partnership was unveiled in a gathering held at the Orange headquarters, Hill Station, Freetown, on Thursday, 18th April.

This partnership will ensure users of MiKashBoks platform to make deposits and withdrawals through Orange Money, a secured and convenient mobile money payment system.

The CEO of Orange Money, David Mansaray, noted the importance of this partnership with MiKashBoks as his company (Orange Money) continues to lead in digital mobile banking in Sierra Leone.

Responding to concerns, David Mansaray explained that there’s a difference between Mikashboks and Super Advertis. He said that there is now a legal and formal relationship between Orange Money and Mikashboks, whereas Super Advertis had never established any relationship with Orange Money. Also adding that they have done due diligence about the status of MiKashBoks before partnering with them.

The Regional Deployment Lead, Reginald Campbell demonstrated how users of MiKashBoks can make deposits on the app by using Orange Money, adding that non smartphone users can still use the service by dialling *352#.

Reginald further reiterated the need for people to embrace digital savings methods through the MiKashBoks platform, which makes it easy, fast, and secure.

He said that MiKashBoks app/service is now available in Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Malawi, and Ethiopia, with plans to expand to several countries.
