Isha Johansen boosts female football finals at the Mountain City community in Freetown

FIFA Council Member and Former SLFA President Madam Isha Johansen has today 3rd March served as a Special Guest of Honour to do the kick-off of the female final between HADRUDEEN STREET VS FOURTH STREET in the Mountain City community in Freetown. This female competition was organized as a build up to their upcoming Community Outing on Sunday 6th March.

As a global champion of female football, Isha Johansen spared some time from her busy schedules to grace this community female competition, as she works towards spreading the game to communities across the country.

Isha Johansen stormed the football loving community (Mountain City) amidst mammoth crowd cheering her.

Before the kick-off, Isha, through her club (FC Johansen) donated two Umbro balls, three sets of FC Johansen supporters jerseys, star prize (cash), a total of Le 4 Million – 2,500,000 for the winner and 1,500,000 for the runner-up.

Making her statement to a jam packed arena, Madam Johansen outlined the importance of female football in a country, as she continues to give support to female football at all times.

She advised the players not to relent and be focused on their football career, despite the challenges.
Mountain City Community has long been a huge fan base for Madam Isha Johansen and her club.

The cash prizes will be distributed to the two teams during the planned Outing on the 6th of March, 2022.
