‘Streets of Gold’ is the latest hit single released by Sierra Leone’s leading gospel singer Daniel Solomon Bangura, commonly referred to as the ‘Pharmacomusician,’ due to his background as a Pharmacist. Daniel has just released this sensational track on major streaming platforms on Wednesday 8th April 2020, his birthday.
In describing the song, Daniel stated as follows:
“Happenings around the world at this moment is a reminder that some day we will have to face the King of Kings. As we anticipate to have a walk on our earthly streets again, let us all be reminded that those who endure till the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, shall inherit all things, and walk on Heavens Golden Streets.”
The song is part of the album ‘That Guy From Sierra Leone’, produced by Rwanda’s multi talented musician, producer and engineer, ‘Clement the Guitarist.’

Daniel Bangura is a multi talented and award winning musician in Sierra Leone. His proficiency in playing the guitar and his melodic prowess has made him as one of the best live performers in the country. He remarkably got his breakthrough with the song ‘Sierra Leone Will Rise Again ‘ after the Ebola epidemic in 2014.
Daniel Bangura is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Global Health Delivery at the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda. This University trains the next generation of Global Health leaders across the World.
In November 2019, Daniel was asked by the University to perform at the ‘Hamwe Festival’; a global health musical concert and shared the same stage with the Malian Grammy Award winner Oumou Sangare, Rwandese sensational Shanel and a host of talented artists. That performance paved the way for the next phase of his music, leading tothe recording of a four-track album titles ‘The Guy from Sierra Leone’.
“The album is named as such, because after my performance of the song (The Guy from Sierra Leone), I became popularly known in my university as the ‘Guy from Sierra Leone,’ Daniel explains.
This album is expected to be released soon. The songs in the album include; ‘The Guy from Sierra Leone’, ‘The Sail’, ‘Streets of Gold’ and ‘Gerageza’ (meaning togetherness featuring one of Rwanda’s accomplished musician, Mani Martin).
As a means to keep the appetite of his fans wet, Daniel has decided to release ‘Streets of Gold’ as an audio and a lyrics video format on the 8th April 2020, which happens to be his birthday.
