The Sierra Leone National Football Team (Leone Stars) players and technical staff will get an improved earning in the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon.

Appearance fee for example will increases from $2,000 to $3,000.

This was explained by the Minister of Sports Ibrahim Nyelenkeh on a radio interview this morning.

LEONE STARS PLAYERS EARNINGS AT AFCON

Appearance fee for each match is $3,000
Match bonus for each draw is $1,500
Match bonus for each win is $4,500

Therefore, they will earn in the following formats for each match at Afcon:

A total of $7,500 per any match won

A total of $4,500 per any match drawn

A total of $3,000 per any match loss

And the above earnings are just for the Group Stage matches, an increment will happen as they proceed stage by stage, according to the Minister of Sports.
