The signed MOU has established a collaboration to carry out Joint projects, research and policy analysis on development and implementation of policies supporting the role of productive music playlist and musical concerts in the proposed areas between the two parties for the growth of Sierra Leone/Ghana MUSIC and CULTURE.

Promoting Sierra Leone music at home and abroad has been the hallmark of the indefatigable SLeDU President since he was elected last year in Kenema. Under Lawva’s leadership, Sierra Leone music is gradually gaining attention and relevance to home music fans, as well as abroad. He remained determined to give a facelift to the growth of the music industry in Sierra Leone and beyond as the substantive President for all DJs in Sierra Leone.

In another development, the President of SLeDU shall also be participating in the DJs Union of Ghana Health Walk dubbed ‘healthy DJs, stronger industry’, taking place this Saturday the 30th of July 2021 in Accra. The fitness walk with Ghana DJs is geared towards keeping the DJs healthy to productively trade their arts effectively. DJ Lawva is currently receiving an overwhelming reception in Ghana just after he jetted in Accra yesterday morning. He has already started networking with Accra based DJs for the Promotion of Sierra Leone Music in Accra.

Sources close to the DJs Union in Sierra reveal bigger development intentions by the current SLeDU leadership to market Sierra Leone music and musicians beyond borders.
