Glamour Raider becomes interim President of Actors Guild Sierra Leone after the death of erstwhile President – Martha

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ACTORS GUILD SIERRA LEONE (AGSL) has appointed a top Sierra Leonean actor Abdulai Saidu Kamara, popularly known as Glamour Raider, to act as its interim President untill the next AGSL Elections. The AGSL President position has been vacant since the death of its erstwhile President Martha Millicent Macauley on the 22nd February 2022.

Other appointed executive members include Christiana Kamara – Vice President, Ishmael Daddys Bangura – National Coordinator and Madusu Koroma – Admin & Finance Officer.

APPOINTMENT OF ACTING NEC EXECUTIVE | 26th April 2022

I write on behalf of the AGSL National Executive Committee (NEC) to inform you that it has had an internal election amongst the Executive Committee Members to occupy the position of President and Vice President respectively. This was done at an executive meeting held on the 5th April 2022.

From the meeting, it was agreed (via nominations and appointments) that the following people will be acting until the next AGSL elections which is hoped to be held in a year time.

  • Abdulai (Glamour) – President
  • Christiana Kamara – Vice President
  • Ishmael Daddys Bangura – National Coordinator
  • Madusu Koroma – Admin & Finance Officer

The AGSL NEC will come out with a call for nomination for key vacant positions in due time.
