Nominations are now opened for the 7th annual Award ceremony of the SIERRA LEONE ASSOCIATION OF ARTISTS & MUSICIANS (SLAAM). This was announced by the organizers.
According to the organizers, nominations for the 2022 SLAAM Awards officially begins on May 12th and closes on May 20th, 2022. Nominations cover works done between February 2021 to February 2022.

The 2022 SLAAM Award ceremony will be held on Friday 10 June, 2022 at the Hampton Conference Center in Maryland, USA, with a theme – ‘BACK TO THE BASICS’, promoting mental health awareness, with the Mental Health Awareness Association.

According to the CEO and founder of SLAAM, Giileh Kebbie Scholz, this year’s edition will be exceptional, as the award seeks to celebrate outstanding achievers in entertainment, arts media, etc.
Meanwhile, the remaining award trophies of the last edition (2021) have all been delivered to the prospective winners.
