Sierra Leonean supermodel and beauty queen Naomi Kay Kargbo has graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations from Istanbul Aydin University in Turkey. She started the her studies in 2018 and graduated in July 2022.
Naomi Kay celebrated her grand graduation on social media:

and now I am a graduate!
Congratulations to me!!! Today, I have crossed yet another milestone . May all my dreams come to fruition.
I’m proud that I made it this far.Pursuing a bachelor degree in Political Science & International Relations, and at the same time maintaining my modeling career was not an easy task, an achievement that almost seemed impossible.
My graduation journey was not easy, from the late night studies to waking up early for lectures especially during the winter was extremely tough for me.

ABOUT NAOMI KAY
Naomi Iye Kargbo, better known as Naomi Kay, is a Sierra Leonean supermodel, beauty queen and entrepreneur, who has made a mark in the field of modeling and pageantry, from her home country and abroad. She is the CEO of the Naomi Kay Empire, a modeling and pageantry agency.
In 2008, she won the Miss Convent Beauty Pageant. She was the 2nd runner-up in the Miss Inter – Secondary School Beauty Pageant in 2009.
In 2016, Naomi Kay was crowned the ‘Face of Africa’, at the International Beauty Pageant in Istanbul Turkey. She also received the award of Best Designer/Dresser at the African Entertainment Awards in Turkey.
Naomi has participated at the Uzbekistan Traditional outfits display in Turkey. She was also a participant at the Vivid Emporium Africana Display in Freetown and and she earned several other laurels.
In 2018, she represented Sierra Leone at the Miss Rainbow of the World Beauty Pageant in Poland and won the ‘Miss RED of the Rainbow’ award.
In September 2021, Naomi Kay, the Sierra Leonean delegate for Miss Global International Beauty Pageant has become the first African to achieve first position of ‘Miss Global International Beauty Pageant’ held in Dubai, UAE.
Between May and June this year, Naomi Kay hosted an Exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey, where a documentary done about her (‘Naomi’) by a European Photographer & Artist Suzan Pektas, was launched. The documentary film ‘Naomi’ brings the journey of Miss Naomi Iye Kargbo, whose story the artist has been following since 2017, to the audience at Barín Han, the exhibition center in Turkey.
On June 25, 2022, her company – Naomi Kay Empire held the first edition of the ‘Mr & Miss Diaspora – Turkey 2022’ Pageant at Takxim Hill Hotel Istanbul, Turkey
And in on July 3rd 2022, she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and International Relations from Istanbul Aydin University in Turkey.
