Following up reactions of some Sierra Leoneans on social media about the influx of foreign music and acts in the country, which many see as a disadvantage of on local music and local stars, the CEO of Reems Entertainment Ellen Keister has lambasted campaigners as ‘hypocrites.’ In her latest outburst on Facebook, Ellen highlighted instances Sierra Leoneans and some of the ‘promote Salone music’ campaigners have contributed in promoting foreign acts, pointing the Big Brother Naija show that was religiously followed by many Sierra Leoneans, and how Sierra Leonean artists have been working with foreign producers.

Keister blasted Kabaka, Eddie 441 and others as hypocrites, as she writes below:

You don’t trust your own but u have an issue with Mastercraft way don eat salone artist money tae? N e ways.. Curiousity kills a kitty Kat but I am hella curious…” ~ Ellen Keister

Recently, Empress Pee a female rapper signed under Keister’s label and many other artists, was seen hanging out in studio sessions with Nigerian producer Masterkraft, who many believed to be charging $1,500 per beat.

And also following the social media protests of another music promote Lawyer Abu Bakarr Turay aka Kabaka on the dominance of foreign music over Sierra Leone music, Ellen Keister believes the campaign is not genuine, rather hypocrite.

Apparently, the fight or campaign to promote local content especially Salone music is facing huge setbacks and things are unfolding in the industry. More and more dramas are sure to occur in the next coming days.

So what’s your take, foreign or local?
