Amb. Giileh Scholz becomes Secretary General of ‘Sierra Leone As One’ (SLAO) in the United States

It was brought to the attention of Vertex media that Sierra Leonean actress, singer, pioneer of multiple initiatives – Ambassador Giileh Kebbie, Scholz has recently agreed to serve as Secretary General to the interim executive of the Sierra Leone As One – SLAO, an organization that was s established in the United States, comprising multiple organizations and schools alumni.

When asked why she agreed to join the interim executive Giileh explained that from her experience with the Sierra Leone community and alumni she supports consistently through promotion and other activities. SLAO is one of those that seems to understand the concept of supporting one another and building and lifting up one another as opposed to just recovering benefits.

She lamented on the keen interests some key executives members have in caring and empowering one another.

The current project being undertaken by SLAO is the provision of solar lights to the Connaught Hospital in Sierra Leone, in a bid to enhance the delivery of quality health services.
