▪10. 🎼 FEELING by Rahim De Wezard

Rahim De Wezard’s latest single ‘FEELING’ continues to stay on the chart for a second consecutive month. The song was featured on many playlists across the country and beyond. It also has an online presence and popularity. It closes the August 2020 chart by occupying the 10th position on the Salone Top 10 Songs chart.

▪9. 🎼 FIRE DANCER by YOK 7 x Teni

Despite dropping down the chart in successive months, there are still signs that ‘Fire Dancer’ by YOK 7 will continue play for the rest of the year. The classic song was however pushed to the 9th position in the August 2020 chart. Two African giants on it, Sierra Leonean rapper YOK 7 featured the Nigerian afrobeat female singer Teni, hammered this song in 2019. ‘Fire Dancer’ keeps performing well in the African continent, and it is still a popular song on the Salone Top 10 Songs chart.

▪8. 🎼 NA YA WE DAE by Yok 7 x Aklass x Willie Jay

July’s new entry (Na Ya We Dae by YOK7) dropped 4 places down to settle at the 8th position on the August 2020 Salone Top 10 Songs chart. The Noble Squad rapper YOK 7 has again broke in with another classic song – ‘NA YA WE DAE’ after his recent anthem ‘FIRE DANCER.’ YOK 7 featured Aklass and Willie Jay in ‘NA YA WE DAE’. The trio did justice to this great song, with so much energy, and continues to be a popular song across the country.

▪7. 🎼 KRIO HIP HOP by Pupa Bajah x Aklass x Drizilik

Pupa Bajah’s ‘KRIO HIP HOP’ dropped 6 places down to occupy the 7th position on the August 2020 Salone Top 10 Songs chart, after previously taking the 1st position in July. Iconic rapper Pupa Bajah returns to prominence when he released the song in July 2020 after he has been away for a couple of years from his active music career. He features his Dry Eye Crew co-rapper Aklass and the Krio New Skool rapper Drizilik. Despite losing the top spots on the chart, the song is still popular online and offline across Sierra Leone.

▪6. 🎼ALL TIN DAE by Boss LA x Arkman x Rap Gee x I-tribe x Rahim x Shuaibu

Another new entry ‘All Tin Dae’ by Boss LA took the 6th place on the August 2020 ‘Salone Top 10 Songs’ chart. Boss LA features Rap Gee, Arkman, I-tribe, Rahim and Shuaiba on this grooving dancehall bashment rap song. All Tin Dae (ATD) is believed to be a new brand that the RFM boss is bringing to light through a superb track that made some great waves in August across Sierra Leone.

Morris’ ‘Dengeh N Pose’ returns to the top 5 spot on the August 2020 Salone Top 10 Songs chart. ‘Dengeh N Pose’ is still hottest 2020 song judging by its previous performances. The song topped the chart for three consecutive months, before dropping down to 2nd in the May and June, 6th in July and now at the 5th position on the August 2020. The song is irresistible, with a classic video and good rhythm and lyrics. There’s no sign that this song will soon fade away.

▪4. 🎼 LEKE DAT by Terror D

‘LEKE DAT’ by Terror D dropped 2 places to settle on the 4th position on the August 2020 Salone Top 10 Songs chart. The song has a great rating on the chart since it was released in May 2020. The Mic City CEO and emcee released the hip hop love song with classic animated visuals, followed by a classic video released in August 2020. The creativity and rap skills in the song makes it a bang.

▪3. 🎼 STORY OF LUMUMBA by Kao Denero

Kao Denero’s ‘Story of Lumumba’ has continued to be popular track online and offline across Africa, and has therefore been rated 3rd on the Salone Top 10 Songs chart of August 2020. The concept of the song touches the minds of many influencers across Africa since it was released from the ‘KISS THE THRONE’ album in March. Story of Lumumba is among the BLACKLEO rapper’s favourites that continue to rock playlists across Sierra Leone and beyond.

▪2. 🎼POPE by Drizilik x Kao Denero

Drizilik’s ‘Pope’ occupies the 2nd position on the Salone Top 10 Songs chart for August 2020. The Krio lyricist features leading rapper Kao Denero on the sensational track. ‘Pope’ was a bang in Sierra Leone and beyond. Hence, it takes the 2nd spot on the chart on its debut appearance.

▪1. 🎼KOKONAT ED by Emmerson

Top of the August 2020 chart is ‘Kokonat Ed’, a new entry by Emmerson Bockarie. The social commentary song was the hottest track in the month of August, which is part of the singer’s ‘9Lives Album’. The 14 minute long song was the most trending song both online and offline in Sierra Leone and beyond, and it takes the first position in the Salone Top 10 Songs chart for August 2020
