African Music Festival – Kizz Daniel set to perform alongside top Sierra Leonean acts in Freetown

The LAKE Productions SL Limited in partnership with Global Empire and Deejaychi Entertainment will bring one of Africa’s biggest music brands, the Nigerian born Afro pop singer Kizz Daniel to the first African Music Festival (AMF) in Sierra Leone. Through our partnership, the AMF is coming to Sierra Leone for the first time, with Kizz Daniel set to be the star performer alongside top Sierra Leonean artistes at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown, on Saturday 4th December 2021.

Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, LAKE Productions (SL) Ltd had procured the services of Kizz Daniel to grace the Sierra Leone Independence anniversary in April 2020, but the event was cancelled due to the threats of the virus. The company later embarked on massive COVID-19 awareness campaign to eradicate the virus and usher in the usual entertainment events in Sierra Leone and beyond.

After the curtailment of the virus, LAKE Production through an official partnership with Global Empire and Deejaychi Entertainment – three of Africa’s prominent music promoting platforms has teamed up to bring one of Nigeria’s finest singers and songwriters, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popular by his stage name ‘Kizz Daniel’ aka Vado D Baddest to the Sierra Leone music lovers. He will share the stage with top-notch Sierra Leonean music acts in a live performance at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown.

Kizz Daniel will be performing some of his biggest hits across the world, including ‘Yeba,’ ‘One Ticket’ Poko,’ ‘Sofa,’ ‘Madu,’ ‘Woju,’ ‘PaknGo,’ ‘4Dayz’ ‘Jaho,’ and his latest trending hit song ‘Necessary’, which has over twenty million streaming on Spotify and other online platforms, and the global ‘Fvck You’ challenge song that made waves across the world.

The management of LAKE Productions company confirmed their partnership with Global Empire and Deejaychi Entertainment which will usher in Kizz Daniel in Freetown:

According to the CEO of LAKE Productions Alhaji K. Tarawally aka Laj-K, his company is working with Deejaychi Entertainment to start taking Sierra Leonean acts to international festivals across the globe. He maintain that the Kizz Daniel’s show in Freetown will be a springboard and a gateway for Salone music to the outside world.

Lake Productions is renowned for organizing some of the iconic Sierra Leonean entertainment events over the past years, including the National Music Festival, the National Entertainment Awards, the National Music Awards, the Miss Freetown Beauty Pargent, among others.

Laj-K has been a fervent promoter of Salone music more than a decade, though his popular shows like the ‘Gateway’ show, among others. His company has also re-branded the Sierra Leone entertainment industry over the years.
