FC JOHANSEN REMEMBER ISSA KOROMA (MADAM)

17-year old striker Issa Koroma was killed in a fatal road accident on 25th January 2011.

‘Madam’ as he was fondly called, hailed from Kenema and was scouted by FC Johansen at a very tender age.

He became a household name, attracting international clubs as he picked up trophies at several youth international tournaments including the Gothia Youth World Cup in Sweden.

Issa Koroma died one week before leaving to join Brazil’s Cruzeiros Club (youth side).

Isha Johansen spoke of the “pain and void” in their hearts, saying his memory will continue to linger in their mind.

Sleep well ‘Madam’, FC Johansen will never forget you.
