Rahim De Wezard made it to the chart with his latest single ‘FEELING’. The song was featured on many playlists across the country and beyond. It also has an online presence and popularity. It closes the July 2020 chart by occupying the 10th position on the Salone Top 10 Songs chart.

▪9. 🎼 ATUGA Nor Be Kno by Sheik Kargbo aka SK

‘Atuga’ is still a popular song in Sierra Leone and beyond, and it takes the 9th place on the May 2020 chart after it previously climbed to the 7th place in July 2020. The U.S-based Sierra Leonean rapper – Sheik Kargbo, also shortened as SK has shown some great rap skills and talents on his recent single ‘Atuga’ which is making significant strides with lots of commendations from hip hop fans across Africa. SK skillfully fused Krio and English in the song which makes so versatile and creative.

▪8. 🎼 FIRE DANCER by YOK 7 x Teni

Despite dropping down the chart in successive months, there are still signs that ‘Fire Dancer’ will continue play for the rest of the year. It was however pushed to the 8th position in the July 2020. In previous months, it has held th 2nd position twice, 5th, 6th positions, etc. Two African giants on it, Sierra Leonean rapper YOK 7 and the Nigerian afrobeat singer Teni, hammered this song in 2019. ‘Fire Dancer’ keeps performing well in the African continent

‘D Sai Wae Ar Komot’ by Kaley Bag drops 6 places down the July 2020 chart, from the 2nd spot in June 2020 yo the 7th spot a month later. The viral rap song was greeted with great applauses by many fans when Kaley spoke about social issues the ordinary man continues face in the hood. The song still commands respect and popularity in Sierra Leone and beyond.

‘Denge N Pose’ by Morris is still hottest 2020 song judging by its previous performances. The song topped the chart for three consecutive months, before dropping down to 2nd in the May and June 2020 Charts, and now at the 6th position on the July 2020. The song is irresistible, with a classic video and good rhythm and lyrics. There’s no sign that this song will soon fade away.

The traditional rapper Milton Koker aka Colabo takes the spotlight again with a classic Mende rap song titles ‘PAY VAY’. He features an upcoming artist Augu6tine. It is not a surprise to see this legendary song ‘KRIO HIP HOP’ taking the lead in the Salone Top 10 Songs chart for July 2020. Iconic rapper Pupa Bajah returns to prominence when he released the song in July 2020 after he has been away for a couple of years from his active music career. He features his Dry Eye Crew co-artist Aklass and the Krio New Skool rapper Drizilik. It became the fastest growing song online and offline in July 2020, and thus topped the chart in its debut.
