Founder of Football For Reform (Fashion For Change) Isha Johansen is special guest at the prestigious London Fashion Week 2023

The world of fashion industry‘s most coveted celebration of who is who in the industry will hold its fashion week [London Fashion Week] in London next week.

A galaxy of A-list top personalities from around the world will be in attendance to pay homage to the world of glamour and fashion.

Isha Johansen’s work with the women and young girls at Sierra Leone Women’s Correctional Centre using the power of Football and Fashion combined to influence social change and rehabilitation in the lives of the female offenders, as well as raising money to pay for fines and legal representation, has captured the attention of international institutions, including Fifa, CAF, and recently Brussels Airlines who donated five sewing machines to the Foundation.

Fifa has also contributed by building a tailoring workshop, with the Fifa Secretary General Fatma Samoura and Fifa Council Member Isha Johansen making personal financial contributions towards the foundation.

Secretary General Fatma Samoura has been a strong and committed supporter and funder of the Sierra Leone Women’s Correctional Centre Rehabilitation Foundation and has pledged to work with Founder Johansen and the Committee in ensuring that the young girls and women find a new direction in life through the football programs offered by Fifa and CAF at the centre and also the tailoring and arts training provided by local fashion designers.

Leading fashion household names working together and training the inmates Jenneh Amara Bangali of SWANK COUTURE, Pa Musa of PA MUSA DESIGNS, Hannah Foullah of SHEPOR, Fredrica of J&F Designs (Just Fabulous), have been officially invited to the United Kingdom to debut their designs at the London Fashion Week in support of FASHION FOR CHANGE.

The invitation to attend the London Fashion Week is a huge and somewhat unbelievable leap forward for the Sierra Leone Fashion Industry, who unexpectedly have found themselves thrown into one of the biggest global fashion platforms.

For others, it does not come as a surprise, for this is synonymous with Isha Johansen – as there is no limit to her outreach and ability to RAISE THE GAME by ’embracing humanity’.

Fifa Secretary General Madam Fatma Samoura, Madam Lina Infantino, Mrs. Precious Motsepe, and a hist of international personalities have been invited to this glamorous fashion event in London on the 16th of September.
