Alhaji K. Tarawally to receive two prestigious awards in November

Two prestigious awards await a young Sierra Leonean change maker, entertainment executive, an academic, and CEO of Lake Productions SL Ltd, Alhaji K. Tarawally, popularly known as Laj K.

Alhaji is drafted to in the maiden edition of the UNSUNG HEROES Magazine, to be launched at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Freetown on November 4th, 2023, by a young Sierra Leonean writer and social media influencer, Hamza Koroma aka Hamza4SL. Alhaji will be honoured on the launch night with an achievement award.

A week later, on November 11 2023, Alhaji Tarawally will be a recipient of another coveted award known as the VISIONARY AWARDS, taking place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Freetown. Alhaji’s longstanding excellence in media, entertainment, and entrepreneurship will be celebrated at the Visionary Awards ceremony.

Alhaji K. Tarawally is one of the most decorated Sierra Leoneans with both local and international awards, honours, and recognitions. His personal and interpersonal prowess and excellence have caught the attention of the global community.

Ambassador Alhaji K. Tarawally is an entrepreneur, TV personality, lecturer, youth ambassador & and communication consultant. Mr. Tarawally is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication from Fourah Bay College, plus several other Diplomas and Certificates from other higher institutions in Africa. Alhaji has now added a Double Master’s Degree from the Global American University Schiller, Germany, and University of RoeHampton, UK. He is the founder and CEO of LAKE Production (SL) Limited, Sierra Leone’s leading one-stop-shop service provider for event management, multimedia production, branding, marketing, advertising and a premier entertainment firm.

He is also the CEO of LAKE Construction and Essential Service Provider (L-CESP), which deals with various aspects of construction and maintenance for both homes and businesses.

LAKE Group of Companies comprises various firms including the National Entertainment Awards Limited, The National Music Awards Limited, the Miss Freetown Beauty Pageant Limited, Miss Mano River Union Beauty Pageant Limited, The National Hip-hop Music Award Limited and The National Music Festival Limited.
