10-year old US based singer – Lil Echa storms the Salone music industry with these classic songs

Umar Echa Sindeh, otherwise known as Lil Echa is a 10 year old Sierra Leonean songwriter and singer based in the United States who has just stormed the music industry with five classic songs on his visit to Sierra Leone. He currently has 4 songs on promo on radio, TV and on online streaming platforms.

The 5 songs on promo include ‘Get Down On It’, ‘Sample Me’, ‘Smile’, ‘Let’s Party On’, and ‘Just Keep On’.

This talented kid started music at age 7 in 2018 when he wrote his first song ‘PARTY ON’, which was produced by a renowned Sierra Leonean producer, Wilbert. Despite being a school going pupil, his passion for entertainment, especially music, continues to grow. Echa later recorded more songs to add to his archive.

Umar Echa Sindeh is the son of a renowned female singer Hawa Bayoh, who was then popularly known as Groovy H of the SISTERS WITH ATTITUDE group, together with Willie Jay, Mackie and Ezzy Zee. She is the current Manager of the kid singer. Lil Echa’s father Yusuf Echa Sindeh used to play football in Sierra Leone before he traveled to the United States.

Lil Echa has worked with two producers, Wilbert playing his first song, and Alman playing the rest of his remaining songs. He is currently in studio recording more songs with top Sierra Leonean artistes in Freetown.

Lil Echa has performed at several events in the United States over the years. Notably, he has performed alongside one of Sierra Leone finest rappers, Menace De General in the US.

According his mother, who also doubles as his Manager, Hawa Bayoh, Lil Echa’s visit to Sierra Leone is important as it will help him adapt to the Sierra Leonean sounds or music genres, and to also popularize his songs and build a fanbase for him.
