ECOFEST 2020 announced, with 14 African nations to perform in two days of arts, culture and music in Freetown


The CEO of the Kabaka Multimediaand & Entertainment (KME) Lawyer Abu Bakarr Turay popularly known as ‘The Kabaka’, has announced that the 2020 Ecofest will take place on November 27 & 28 at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The two days festivities will bring together 14 African countries to display and perform arts, culture and music.

Ecofest 2019 was awesome with a record attendance of over 70,000 fans, making it the biggest entertainment gathering in Africa in 2019. This year’s event is anticipated to be more star studded and attracts more visitors and fans across Africa. The 2020 event (the 4th edition of ECOFEST) is themed as the ‘Takeover’.

Kabaka made the announcement on his Facebook page as follows:

“We bring you the schedule for ECOFEST SIERRA LEONE 2020 dubbed THE TAKEOVER. There will be two (2) days of festivities at the National Stadium whilst these days will be preceded by an Entertainment Master Class with venue to be determined and concluded with a Beach After Party at River No.2.”

“Fourteen (14) Nations will be on stage at the National Stadium this year. We are introducing the Cultural dance and music aspect of the festival that will showcase our rich culture and give an opportunity to artistes from across all 14 Districts to participate.”
