FIFA’s Isha Johansen returns from the OFC Congress in New Zealand

Isha Johansen was in attendance at the 2022 Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Ordinary Congress in Auckland, New Zealand. The former Sierra Leone FA President, who now serves as a FIFA Council & FIFA Foundation Board Member and CAF Executive Committee Member, graced the OFC Congress alongside top football authorities, including the FIFA President Gianni Infantino and other FIFA Council Members, especially the African representatives in FIFA.

Madam Johansen has been providing football leadership across the world, representing FIFA at major events. Her presence at the OFC Congress was also a big boost for female football administrators, as she met with dynamic female football authorities.

Isha, Infantino and other football authorities also witnessed the group stage draw for the 2023 Women’s Football World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is made up of 11 members (Football Associations) of nations located in the South Pacific, with its headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand.
