President Julius Maada Bio has revoked the Presidential Clemency granted to the convicted herbalist Baimba Moiforay, popularly known as LAC Chocolate, for the murder of Sydney Buckle aka DJ Clef in 2015.

LAC who was initially granted the Presidential pardon on January 1st by President Bio, has been spotted giving testimonies in Church and chilling around lavishly with celebrities. These events and his ‘untimely’ release, angered the public, criticising the President and the Committee responsible to nominate inmates for Presidential pardon.

Following these developments, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Rtd. Brig. Julius Maada Bio has revoked the pardon granted to Baimba Moiforay ‘with immediately effect’. A Press Release from the Office of the President further states that the President has ‘instructed the investigation into the process leading to the granting of pardon to Baimba Moiforay…’
