The Head Coach of the Sierra Leone National Football Team (LEONE STARS) John Edward Keister has announced the final 28 man squad for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon.
As per CAF/AFCON regulations, all participating nations are required to submit their final squads not later than December 30, 2021. The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has already complied with the directives by submitting the said list of players today.
On the 20th December 2021, Coach Keister released the provisional 40 man squad for Leone Stars, from which he got his final 28 man squad.
Here is the list of players in the Leone Stars final Afcon squad:
“It’s time for us to make decision, though it’s a difficult one. The rest of the players who do not make the list will go home with their packages. We appreciate their contribution in the journey.”
