“We fought hard to regain our pride”- Coach Sillah, FC Johansen

Newly appointed Head Coach of FC Johansen, Ibrahim Sillah, has disclosed that his boys fought hard to salvage a point against Old Edwardians in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League on Sunday.

FC Johnasen came from 2-0 down to level the score at 2-2 against the May Park Boys

Sillah commended the performance of his boys which he described as ‘a perfect team work and cohesiveness’ learnt during training sessions.

He added that they conceded two early goals in the first half through set pieces.

“It was a tough moment for us. The half time team talks in the dressing room helped the team a lot because I told them not to give up, that we can have at least a point from this match”

He continued: “It was replicated in the second half were we got our two goals which granted us a point”.

FC Johansen lie 10th in the league table with 26 points as they prepare to host RSLAF on Wednesday at the Siaka Stevens Stadium at 7pm.
