Following the draw for the Cote D’voire 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations qualification, the Sierra Leone National Football Team (Leone Stars) has been drawn in Group A alongside Nigeria, Guinea Bissau, and either São Tomé & Principé or Mauritius.

In the 12 groups of four teams each, the top two in each group (making it 24 teams) will progress to the finals.

The first two matchdays of the qualifiers are set to take place between 30 May and 14 June. Matchdays three and four will then be held between 19 and 27 September.
The final two rounds will then take place between 20 and 28 March 2023.
