Sierra Leone Premier League sets for final first-leg matches during the weekend – see fixtures

The first rounds of the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League will come to an end this weekend when clubs play their first 17 matches on Saturday and Sunday, 20th and 21st November, respectively. The 2021/2022 league season started in April 2021 and had a 2 months break due to covid-19 restrictions.

Going into the final matches in the first legs, East End Lions FC are leading the log with 33 points and 10 goals after 16 games played, already. No Rangers are trailing in the second spot with just a point difference at 32 points and 6 goals after 16 games.

Sierra Leone Police FC and Bai Bureh Warriors FC are on 18th and 17th positions with 10 and 12 points, respectively, after 16 games each.

The weekend will be dominated by mouthwatering encounters to wrap up the first legs in the 2021/2022 SLPL.

There is no outright title contenders as surprises are highly anticipated in the coming months. But Lions, Bo Rangers, FC Kallon, Wusum Stars and more are all potential suitors for the 2021-2022 SLPL title.
