Three (3) fixtures in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League have all produced winnings for Anti Drugs Strikers FC, Bo Rangers FC and Mighty Blackpool on Saturday 19th February, 2022.

At the Approved School Field in Kissy Freetown, Anti Drugs Strikers have a convincing 2-0 victory against Old Edwardians. Thanks to a brace from Anti Drugs’ striker Osman Barrie, who opened the scoreline in the 23rd minute, and sealed it in the 86th minute.

At the Bo Mini Stadium, Bo City, league leaders secured a dramatic win against visitors Bai Bureh Warriors by 2-1 scoreline. Bo Rangers took the lead in the first half through a goal converted by Amadu Mansaray, before Warriors’ Momoh Idriss Sankoh levelled to scoreline before halftime. Commotion and violence erupted afterwards, reportedly by fans and officials of Bo Rangers against the officiating team and Bai Bureh Warriors, which brought the game into a halt.

The game was also reportedly brought into a disrepute for the second time after a missile was allegedly thrown at Bai Bureh Warriors player, following a penalty converted by Rangers’ Musa Noah Kamara. The match was disrupted for over 10 minutes before it resumes. Many people believe that the dramatic scenes at the Bo Mini Stadium were in direct revenge to similar fracas in Portloko in the first rounds. The Sierra Leone Premier Board is yet to react to the incidences.

Later at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown, Mighty Blackpool walloped Central Parade with a thumping victory of 3-0. Goals from new signing Ron Gandi Williams gave Blackpool the lead in the 10th minute, followed two goals in the second half by Donald Wellington and Edward Momoh in the 55th and 87th minutes respectively.
