Breaking News: Benson Bawoh and Lamin Tarawallie take up new SLFA appointments

Renowned football personalities, Mohamed Benson Bawoh and Lamin Tarawallie popular known as Coach Lamin have been appointed by the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) to serve in different capacities. According a press statement from SLFA Media Department, the two appointees will serve as Head of Corporate Affairs and Media and Communications Officer respectively.

“The Sierra Leone Football Association would like to inform the general public, especially members of the football family, that the Executive Committee has with pleasure approved the following appointments:

– Mohamed Benson Bawoh, Head of Cooperate Affairs.

– Lamin Tarawallie, Media and Communications Officer.

“The above mentioned appointees are expected to start functioning in their new capacities effective immediately.”

Mohamed Benson Bawoh, new Head of Corporate Affairs, SLFA

Before his appointment as Head of Corporate Affairs of the FA, Mohamed Benson Bawoh was serving as a member of the Sierra Leone Premier League Board (PLB) 2019/2020 season. He was also a senior administrator in Volleyball in Sierra Leone for couple of years. He is the presenter of the popular Orange Football show on SLBC TV.

Lamin Tarawallie, new Media and Communications Officer, SLFA

Lamin Tarawallie is a seasoned football journalist, administrator and fanatic. He has a long and outstanding experience in the football circle in the sub-region. He is fluent in English and French. Coach Lamin is a Media Officer of one of Sierra Leone biggest Premier League clubs, East End Lions Football Club.

The duo will join Ibrahim Kamara, Head of Media and Marketing – SLFA. The appointment came at a time the FA is looking forward to rebrand and give a facelift to the ‘beautiful game’ of Football. The Isha administration is on top of situation in football administration in Sierra Leone.
