Since the arrest of popular rapper Alhaji Amadu Bah aka Boss LAJ on Sunday 12th June 2022, the public, especially the entertainment community has been in solidarity with him after reports of his dreadlocks being forcefully shaved and injected with red liquid in cell, plus many other humans violations on him came to the public. The public outcries on these gross human rights violations, including denying his lawyers and family to access him, have been ongoing on traditional and social media. But what is now considered as the most shocking form of solidarity campaign was when popular folksinger Fantacee Wiz Kamara shared photos of her bald head, which shows that she has completely shaved off her over 6 inches long dreadlocks to support her colleague musician, whose human rights have been violated by the State.

Everyone knows that these long and beautiful dreadlocks are a major signature, brand and identity of Fantacee, which she has preserved for the longest. Therefore, taking them off did not only send a message of solidarity to Boss LAJ, it also sent shockwaves across her followers, who were left in disbelief and admiration for what she stands for.

As the campaign continues, it is still not clear when he will be released or charged to court, as the Police continue deny his family and legal team access to see or talk with him.
