Kings’ Empire unveils 5 new artistes in a deal worth $75,000 signing packages

One of the leading entertainment companies in Sierra Leone, Kings Empire has unveiled the its newly signed artists in an event hosted at the Kings Empire Nightclub, Levuma, Freetown on Monday 6th June 2022.

The newly signed artists include Wailer, Domai PC, Amy, Zed and K Mon K, who are all young and upcoming acts.

The Entertainment Manager of Kings’Empire, a renown DJ and media personality, Ibrahim Koroma, better known as Prezo Koroma, reiterated the contributions and investments his company (Kings’ Empire) has made over the years, which makes it “a leading entertaiment company in the country.” Koroma furthered that Kings’Empire has invested a lot in the movie and music sectors. He therefore said that the new signings to the label are a testament of the good intentions of the CEO to elevate the music industry. Koroma also emphasized the need to collaborate with all sectors in the industry – from DJs, journalists, bloggers/promoters, etc.

Explaining to the press, the CEO of Kings’ Empire Valentine King said that his company conducted a nationwide tour to scout potential music talents for onward recruitment into the Kings’ Empire music label. He informed that the newly signed artists were scouted from Kenema, Kabala, Freetown and from Nigeria.

Val King informed the audience that the signing packages include mentorship and training, music and video production, marketing, plus a cash support to each artist, “totalling a sum of over $75,000 as signing packages.”

Other speakers, including DJ Kallox, Master Jaye, DJ Med Mans, Bazz Money – all spoke in the direction of unity, collaboration, quality music and respect for one another, while applauding the Kings’Empire management for believing and investing in young Sierra Leonean talents. They also advised the artistes and the management to respect the contracts they have signed, and lead as a good example in the industry.

The Kings’ Empire management also announced several professional staff, who are engaged in multimedia productions and marketing, including skilled professionals from Nigeria.
