SLFA Boss congratulates Alimamy Turay, first Sierra Leonean employee at CAF

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President Thomas Daddy Brima has in an open letter congratulated Alimamy Sallieu Turay who has become the first Sierra Leonean to be employed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Alimamy is the new Payable Executive Accountant – Coordinator at Africa’s football governing body Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

Following Alimamy’s landmark appointment, Mr. Brima noted that it has brought ‘so much respect to the nation and its football…’

“I would like to congratulate you on this your historic appointment which has made you the first Sierra Leonean to ever work at the CAF
secretariat. This breakthrough is a milestone achievement that has brought so much respect to our beloved nation and its football.”

“We are extremely proud of you as a nation and we look forward to working with you and the entire CAF team in the development of football in Sierra Leone and Africa in its entirity.”
