SLFA: Sierra Leone (Leone Stars) to play Togo, Liberia and Congo Brazzaville ahead of AFCON 2023 Qualifiers

The Sierra Leone Football Association, has in a press statement, said it has concluded the arraignment of three (3) international friendlies for the Senior National Men’s Team LEONE STARS, in preparation for the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers.

Sierra Leone will play against Togo, Liberia and Congo Brazzaville in Antalya, Turkey, on the 24th, 27th and 29th March 2022, respectively.

The release further stated that the Technical Team has invited several foreign based players, including new called-ups like Jonathan Morsay, who had consented to player for Sierra Leone before the 2021 AFCON.

All 3 matches are FIFA sanctioned friendlies for the March 2022 window. Leone Stars will commence their qualifying matches in June this year for the 2023 AFCON.
