Music goddess – Covy Tee reveals plans to boost her music career, as she engages the media in Sierra Leone

Sensational Belgium-based Sierra Leonean female afrobeat artiste Tigidankay Sesay, popularly known as ‘Covy Tee’, is currently on her media engagements across the Sierra Leone. The female singer has hinted this media on her plans to take her music career ‘beyond the borders of Sierra Leone.’

Covy Tee who has just returned to Sierra Leone after living in Belgium for a very long time, is currently engaged in several performances, alongside with top music stars, one of them is Star Zee, leading Sierra Leonean female rapper. She has also extended her networking and tours to studio recordings and to engaging the media for updates on her music activities.

Covy finds it imperative on her to engage her fans and the general public on her music activities after being being away for a very long period. “These media tours will help my fans to understand what I have been doing and what I intends doing in future,” she says, adding that “I’m grateful for the love and support they show me.”

She entends her appreciations to her Belgian-based personal manager Rachel Cheke, to female rapper Star Zee, to her producer and to everyone supporting her.

Apart from her media engagements, Covy has also revealed that she will use her time in Sierra Leone to record music.

“My motive is s to record more songs and take my music beyond Sierra Leone. I’m currently in the studio working on my next music projects,” she stated.

Covy also hinted that she might feature some big music names on her upcoming projects.

The music goddess Covy Tee is signed to Stack Town Records in Belgium, owned by a Nigerian – Raybraze. She started her music journey in 2018 when she recorded her first song titled ‘Sweet’, followed by ‘Malaneh Me’ featuring Markmuday, and she also released her third song ‘Bere Bere’ in 2021.

She has performed in major music events in Europe and Sierra Leone, sharing the stage with Nigerian singer Teni, Sierra Leonean rapper Kao Denero, performing at AWOL’s events in France, Germany, etc. She has also performed in several events in Sierra Leone, partnering with Star Zee on her 2021 tour in the country. She was also a potential performer on the Burna Boy show in Freetown that was recently cancelled by the organizers.

Covy Tee is a recipient of several nominations, recognition and awards over the past years, including 2 awards from AWOL Continental in 2019, KDEA Best Diaspora Artist 2021 and several other nominations and recognitions from NEA and other organizers.

Away from her music career, Covy Tee is also into fashion and designs. She is one of the well known fashionistas at home and abroad.
