Actrss, Winstina Taylor in 25 days of Christmas Secret Santa

Random and lucky families across Sierra Leone would each receive half a bag of rice, half a bag of onions, other cooking condiments and provisions, plus additional money to kids to buy gifts during the 25 Days of Christmas Secret Santa challenge.

The 25 Days of Christmas Secret Santa Challenge is championed by a US-based Sierra Leonean actress, entrepreneur, philanthropist and humanitarian, Winstina Taylor, in partnership with Tinamarie & Immaculate Charity, with supports from friends like Queennak and others. The challenge runs from the 1st to the 25th December 2019.

Every day, a random family would be adapted and supplied half a bag of rice, onions, tomatoes and other condiments, and provision, and kids in the same family will be given Le 100,000 each to buy Christmas gifts, no matter the number kids the family has.

“This is a way is giving back to the underprivileged in my country,” said Winstina Taylor.
“Most of my friends are supporting me in this challenge. Queennak for example is in charge for 7 days where she would be distributing the monies to the kids while we take care of the rest of the supplies (food).”

After the 25 Days of Christmas Secret Santa, Winstina and her mom will be feeding people in Makeni City from the 25th December 2019 to the 1st of January 2019. “This venture has been a tradition that my mom does every year, so I’m joining her this year.”

Winstina Taylor is a multitasking, multi-talented, award winning Sierra Leonean raised; American trained actress, entrepreneur, philanthropist and humanitarian.

As a successful actress in the United States, some of her movies are now being distributed across Africa through the IROKO TV, DSTv Channels, UK Nations and many more outlets.

The ambitious Winstina is busy on the go, a woman who has her sights set on expanding her business and operations, having launched a successful production company – Prime International Productions in an effort to help upcoming filmmakers and entertainers to have a local production company to call home. For an educated and successful woman of her caliber, Winstina has managed to balance family, work and play, with serious dedication in helping the helpless especially her Sierra Leone community via Immaculate Charities co – owned by her mother Rosemarie Sesay that is engaged in educating and feeding the poor in Sierra Leone and many other places. Winstina has taken a serious dedication to her Sierra Leone community in the US and back home. She has done educational tours to teach about health (communicable diseases, infectious diseases and hygiene) to the rural people of Sierra Leone. Winstina and her family are currently paying over 20 students’ school fees in Sierra Leone and employ more than 50 workers under Immaculate branch in Sierra Leone and a newly opened family Guest House in Makeni.

Winstina’s greatest mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with “some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style”, simply said by Maya Angelou, while putting a smile on everyone that comes around her and sees no one left behind in poverty or hunger.

Her 25 Days of Christmas Secret Santa challenge continues with fabulous and surprising supplies/gifts to deprived families across the country, followed by six days feeding for people of Makeni. Donations or supports from Goodwill persons will be accepted and judiciously used for the siad purposes.
