Top Clubs battle for the signature of the Young Football Tactician – Coach Daniel

As football resumes across the country after a long break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, three prestigious clubs in Sierra Leone are battling for the signature of the current Assistant Coach of F.C Johansen – Daniel A. Conteh. This young and vibrant football tactician has attracted some football clubs including Sierra Leone Premier League Clubs for his Coaching services. Coach Daniel who has been in top flight football coaching for almost a decade is now the centre of attraction for many top clubs across the country.

Presently, Daniel is the interest of one of the newly promoted Premier League clubs Mount Auroel SLIFA F.C, a team he helped to promote to Premier League for the first time after Mount Auroel Galaxy F.C was sold and changed to Mount Auroel SLIFA. He is also the interest of top Division One teams like Real Mack F.C and Goderich F.C.

However, his experience working under big Football Coaches in the country has placed him under the radar of Premier League sides, East End Lions F.C and Bo Rangers F.C to be part of their backroom staff.

His role in helping Mount Auroel SLIFA promotes to the top flight League as a coach is breathtaking and absolutely amazing. The club is seriously making efforts to get the signature of this characteristic and talented coach to lead the technical team of the club.

In a Video of players and officials celebrating the Club’s promotion at the Bo Stadium, Daniel was also seen in a jubilant mood as the team promoted for the first time since it was established in 2009. All praises to his handiwork. He spent his early football career as one of the first set of coaches of Mount Auroel SLIFA when it was established in 2009. As a result of his impeccable track record at the club and his ambition to be a full-time Manager of any top club, he is highly likely to rejoin the newly promoted Premier League Club.

Meanwhile, Goderich FC and Real Mack are ready to challenge Mount Aureol FC for the services of Coach Daniel, who is also part of the coaching staff of the Sierra Leone National U-15 team. These two Division One teams are looking forward to promote to the Premier League if they secure the services of Daniel.

Notwithstanding, F.C Johansen want to maintain him as the Assistant Coach of the Club in spite of the interests shown by other Clubs to get his signature. And his loyalty and commitment to the club might prevent him from leaving the 2016 Sierra Leone FA Cup Champions.

However, it is quite clear that this young coach is very focused on his job at F.C Johansen irrespective of the pressures that continue to mount on him from interested clubs. Daniel is yet to make any statement with regards to his future at the club. There is also the possibility for this young tactician to up a full managerial role from one of the interested clubs. His coaching skills are paying off, and it is no surprise to see teams craving for his signature.
