One of Sierra Leone finest sports journalists, Edward Ishmail Saidu Kanu, has been shortlisted as one of the 10 Best Sports Journalists In Africa in the AIPS Sports Media Awards 2023.

Sierra Leone’s Edward Ishmail Siadu Kanu of the Believers Broadcasting Network (BBN) Radio was ranked in 9th in the AUDIO category of Top 10 Best African Best Sports Journalists, with the story titled, ‘Age Fraud: A Threat To Football Development In Sierra Leone’.
