African Female Football Power Brokers Converge For AWCON Finals

As the AWCON finals draw closer, Isha Johansen and Jessica Motaung brace up for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final, which is scheduled for July 23rd 2022 in Morocco.

Isha Johansen is a FIFA Council Member, CAF Executive Committee Member, Founder of FC Johansen, Former SLFA President, Vice Chairman of the CAF Women’s Organizing Committee.

Jessica Motaung is the CEO/Marketing Officer of South Africa’s Premier League club Kaizer Chiefs, newly appointed Member of the CAF Women’s Organizing Committee and a television personality. Jessica is the daughter of Kaizer Motaung, South African football legend and founder of Amakhosi Football Club, which is now known as Kaizer Chiefs FC.

The two female football administrators are reported to have been introduced at an international football match a while back and hit it off instantly, given their mutual roles of running Premier League clubs as women in Africa.

Jessica Motaung was proud to meet with her boss Isha Johansen, as they look forward to successfully conclude the continent’s ongoing elite female football competition in Morocco this month.
