TM Alhaji Umar Bah donates 100 match balls to Sierra Leone Youth and Senior National Football teams

The recently appointed Team Manager of the Sierra Leone National Homebased Team, Alhaji Umar Bah, has donated 100 match balls to the Sierra Leone National Youth and Senior Football Teams. He made this donation at the Secretariat of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) on Saturday 2nd July, 2022.

The event was graced by members of the football family – SLFA and the media.

“As I promised earlier to contribute to the development of the game, I’m here today to donate 100 balls to the Youth and Senior National Football Teams.”

Receiving the donation on behalf of the FA, the General Secretary Christopher Kamara applauded Mr. Bah for what he referred to as ‘a timely intervention.’

“On behalf of the Executive Committee and the President, I want to say thank you for this donation. I assure you that these materials will be used for the intended purposes.”

As you can see, we are challenged with match balls. We have several categories of our national teams training and we are also in short supply of training balls for all categories. Your support came in at the right time. We do appreciate you.”
