SLFA handed over its Headquarters buildings for COVID-19 fight

The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association Madam Isha Johansen has handed the headquarter building of the FA to the government of Sierra Leone. This came the SLFA’s solidarity with the government of Sierra Leone to fight against the Coronavirus disease, after recently disbursed over Le 600 million as relief fund for cluds and other football authorities.

SLFA SIGNS SOLIDARITY COOPERATION WITH MINISTRY OF HEALTH IN THE COVID-19 FIGHT

The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association Madame Isha Johansen today handed over the keys of the Six Billion Leones newly refurbished FA headquarters including its 20 rooms furnished hostels.
This most recent of the SLFA’s solidarity gesture is part of the federation’s plans to partner with key health organisations in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus.

The handing over ceremony at Kingtom was witnessed by the Minister of Health and Sanitation Professor Alpha T. Wurrie, Deputy Minister of Health and Sanitation (1) Dr. Antony Augustine Sandi, Deouty Minister of Health and Sanitation (2) Dr. Amara Jambai, Minister of Political Affairs Amb. Foday Yumkellah, Minister of Sports Ibrahim Nyelenkeh, Deputy Minister of Sports Kai Laurence Mbayoh, Executive Director of Sports Dr. Kenneth Brima and the Chief of Staff of the Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) Mr. Solomon Caulker.
