New entry ‘D Sai Wae Ar Komot’ Kaley Bag has topped the May 2020 Chart as the most trending Sierra Leonean song. The song was greeted with the great applause after Kaley spoke about social issues the ordinary man face in the hood. The upcoming rapper was brought to the limelight after his brilliant performance at the AYV Cypher Uncensored Season 1. His latest single became ‘talk of the town’ when it was released with a classic video in May, thereby taking the first spot on the chart in its debut appearance.

After topping the chart for three consecutive months, ‘Denge N Pose’ by Morris has dropped one place down to 2nd in the May 2020 Chart. The song has continues to maintain more playing time and growth across Sierra Leone and beyond despite losing the first spot in May 2020. The song is irresistible, with a classic video and good rhythm and lyrics.

Terror D hit the chart and occupies the 3rd place on the May 2020 chart, on his debut appearance with his latest hip hop love song – ‘Leke Dat.’ The Mic City emcee released the song in May 2020 with classic animated visuals. The creativity and rap skills in the song, makes it a bang.

‘Freetown’ is a sensational rap song released by Sierra Leone’s fastest growing female rapper Natasha Beckley popular on stage as Tasha. The song became more popular when the artist released a video in April this year. Notably, dozens of challenges have been done ‘Freetowns’ original cover. The song has climbed up to 4th position after taking the 7th place in the April 2020 chart as a debutant.

‘Fire Dancer’ is still a big tune around. The song takes the 5th place on the May 2020 after previously held on to the 2nd position for 2 consecutive months. Two African giants on it, Sierra Leonean rapper YOK 7 and the Nigerian afrobeat Teni, hammered this song in 2019. ‘Fire Dancer’ keeps performing well in the African continent.

DJ Flexx has emerged as the most outstanding Sierra Leonean DJ for the month of May 2020. This young spinner has been amazing but faced tough competition to get a breakthrough in the monthly music chart, but has finally got in as DJ on the Month in the Salone Top 10 Songs chart. Flexx is well known for his usual program ‘Taking D Club To D Radio’ (TDC-TDR) on Kalleone Radio 105.7 FM. He has been true to his course and has consistently been promoting Sierra Leone music. He has replaced Dee Jay Jesse in the May 2020 chart as DJ on the Month.
