▪10. 🎼 FINALLY by Cece x Drizilik

Finally Cece’s grooving love song titled ‘FINALLY’ has made it to the June 2020 Salone Top 10 Songs chart by occupying the 10th position for the firsttime. Cece featured the New Skool great rapper Drizilik who adds more spice to it. Despite being released earlier this year, the song regains more popularity when the video was released last month.

Jah The Element’s sensational love song finally makes it debut entry into the Salone Top 10 Songs Chart for June 2020 after it has gained popularity and playing time in Sierra Leone and beyond. The song made it on several international playlists in Africa. It also has huge online presence. Great emcee Boss LA and Kaygee were featured in this song. ‘Sure Thing’ takes the 9th spot of the June 2020 chart.

‘Freetown’ continues to stay in the chart since it made its debut entry in April this year, three consecutive months running. It is a sensational rap song released by Sierra Leone’s fastest growing female rapper Natasha Beckley popular on stage as Tasha. Notably, dozens of challenges have been done on the ‘Freetown’s’ original cover. The song has previously occupies the 7th and 4th positions in April and May respectively.

‘Atuga’ keeps growing on the chart by moving 2 places upward the chart for June 2020, to the 7th position, after previously taking the 9th place on the May 2020 chart. The U.S-based Sierra Leonean rapper – Sheik Kargbo, also shortened as SK has shown great rap skills and talents on his latest ‘Atuga’ which is making significant strides with lots of commendations from hip hop fans across Africa. SK skillfully fused Krio and English in the song which makes him so versatile and creative.

‘Fire Dancer’ drops 1 place down from 5th position in May 2020 to 6th place on the May 2020 after previously held on to the 2nd position for 2 consecutive months. Two African giants on it, Sierra Leonean rapper YOK 7 and the Nigerian afrobeat Teni, hammered this song in 2019. ‘Fire Dancer’ keeps performing well on the African continent

Fifth on the June 2020 chart is what many hip hop fans across Africa refer to as the biggest music concept – the ‘Story of Lumumba’ by Kao Denero. The Mic City CEO and emcee released hip hop love song in May 2020 with classic animated visuals. The creativity and rap skills in the song makes it a bang. LEKE DAT appears on many playlists across the country and it is hugely popular online.
