Former Housemates Salone contestant and supermodel Lolo Simeon had an interactive Media Soiree, organized by her team and Zarlux Inc at the The View Lounge, Freetown City Hall on Sunday evening (24th July 2022). The event was well attended by her colleagues (ex-housemates), the media, corporate institutions, friends and family.

Lolo shared her experience in the AYV’s Housemates Salone Season 3 house, which she described as a ‘bitter-sweet’ experience. According to her, she encountered several squabbles with some colleague housemates, but she surmounted all those challenges. All thanks to her unique guiding principles, that took her that far in the show.

“It was challenging but my principles made me steadfast in the house,” she said.

Going into the reality, Lolo Simeon was looking forward to use the platform to tell her story and learn from others, irrespective of winning the big prize.

“For me, it’s not all about the money, but about telling my story and let people see me as a role model.”

One of her astonishing moments in the house was during her personal union with Juliana Conteh aka Julie Tombo. Unlike her, many housemates found it challenging to get along with Julie, the eventual winner of the Season 3.

Lolo was able to navigate through and made an impact as one of the most outstanding contestants. She extended her gratitude to AYV and Africell for the opportunity given to her to market herself.

Representing Zarlux Inc, the General Manager Joshua I. Akinola describes their ambassador Lolo Simeon as an intellect and a woman of dignity, and feels proud to have her as their brand ambassador.
