The leading mobile company in Sierra Leone Africell has today signed a sponsorship agreement with the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) at the Africell Head Office at Wilberforce Village in Freetown.

This partnership agreement will Africell as official partner/sponsor for the Leone Stars AFCON finals with a total sponsorship package worth 700 Million Leones.

Also, a yearly sponsorship package of 1.2 Billion Leones was announced for the Sierra Leone Premier League, which will span for a period of four years.

The President of the SLFA Thomas Daddy Brima expresses delight over the partnership with Africell.

The Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Africell Joe Abass Bangura underscores his company’s commitment to support football in Sierra Leone. Today’s agreement means that Africell is the official sponsor of the Senior National Football Team Leone Stars and the top tier league, the Sierra Leone Premier League.
