SUBMISSION OF CLUB DETAILS TO SLFA CLUB LICENSING DEPARTMENT
I write to inform you that the African Football Confederation has decided to launched a new project of registering football clubs online that are affiliated to Member Associations in the continent effective 2022/ 23 football season.
To this , CAF has directed that every premier league, first and second division football clubs affiliated to its Member Association MUST provide to the Club Licensing department of the Football Association the following information which shall be input into the new online system on or before the 25th October 2021:
- Name of club
- Year founded or established
- City or District of existence
- Team colors
- Playing Venue / stadium
- Name and email address of club President
- Name and email address of club secretary
- Name of Female football club
- Year founded
- Team colors
- Playing venue or stadium
- Name and email address of club President
- Name and email address of club secretary
Please note that these directives came after the successful conclusion of a zoom meeting today (30th September,2021) held by CAF for Club licensing Managers of their MAs.
Clubs that failed to comply with these directives at the stipulated time will not be included in the new online system and their existence will not be recognized by CAF.
In view of the aforementioned, the Club licensing department of the SLFA is kindly requesting ALL Divisional football clubs nationwide to provide these details on or before 15th October , 2021 to the SLFA secretariat via the following contacts: Email address: sorieibrahims@yahoo.com or wattsapp on +23277226160 or letter addressed to SLFA Club licensing department. 21 Battery street, Kingtom , Freetown.
