Bo Rangers, Edwardians and Lions resume the Sierra Leone Premier League season with exciting wins

The Sierra Leone Premier League has resumed actions with 4 fixtures on Saturday 11 September 2021 after a 3-month break, following government’s COVID-19 restrictions on sporting events in June 2021.

Four (4) fixtures marked the resumption of the top tier league today across the country. There were 4 winnings and 1 draw.

At the Bo Stadium, strikes from Musa Noah Kamara and Saidu Bah gave Bo Rangers a comfortable 2-0 victory against visitors East End Tigers. This victory ferments Rangers lead in the log.

At the Porkloko Field, visitors Old Edwardians, with goals from Emmanuel Ansumana and Abdulai Agger Koroma came from behind to snatch a 2-1 away win against Bai Bureh Warriors, after an early Warriors’ lead through strike from Abubakarr Sankoh goal.

It was a non scoring draw at the Attuga Mini Stadium between Freetown City and Mount Aureol SLIFA.

An early goal from from Abdul Razak Conteh was enough for East End Lions to take all 3 points from Sierra Leone Police FC.
